Traces of a Genocide
The memory of the traumatic period of the Khmer Rouge tyranny between April 17, 1975 and January 6th, 1979, persists: The pain of mass murder, torture, cruelty and inhuman acts, starvation. The pain of being separated and losing parents, children, spouses, relatives and friends. Today the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide in Phnom Penh, as well as the memorial at the "Killing Fields" document the terror.
